Old Testament Notes

            Tower of Babel (Genesis 11:1-9). ‘There was a time when all the world spoke a single language and used the same words’. Once people decided to build for themselves a big city, then a tower ‘with its top in the heaven’.  The Lord did not like their ambitions, He saw in them pride and an attempt to be equal to Him. He confused the people's languages, they stopped to understand each other and scattered over the face of the earth.
