Eva Mudocci (1872-1952), real name Evangeline Hope Muddock, was a British violinist and pianist. She had been a child prodigy and played music under the name Rose Lynton. When she began to travel Europe, she changed her name to the Italian-sounding Eva Mudocci. In 1903, while touring Paris with her partner, the musician Bella Edwards, she had an affair with Edvard Munch
