Ivan Ivanovich Lazhechnikov (1792-1869), writer, author of historical novels; participated in Moscow militia and foreign campaign of the Russian army against Napoleon in 1812-1814. Later he devoted himself to public education and organizing schools and colleges for all layers of the nation
